Halloween is upon us!

Bad ghosts have taken candy from the little witch.
You're the black cat and her trusty friend.
Collect the candy before the real and dangerous night comes. Your cute kittens will help, but don't let them get hurt!

Walk the cats left mouse click. To collect candy point the kittens towards it.

Game Objective:

Find all the candy that the ghosts scattered and return it to the girl.
The kittens get scared by barking dogs and drop candy, so it's best not to let them get too close!
The ghosts will take the candy away from one kitten if it gets within range of the kitten.
To take the candy, just bring the kittens close to it (the closer the cat is to the candy, the brighter the illuminating indicator becomes).

Mother cat cannot be affected by ghost and dogs so use taunt to change line of sight of enemy to Cat while kitties crossing zone.

Taunt usage

Controls (Keyboard + Mouse):

  • Cat movement - WASD
  • Kitties movement - Left Mouse Button
  • Enlist the attention of enemies (taunt) - Q
  • Displays enemy sight zones and points to the nearest candy - E

Bug fixs and solved issues 1.0.1:

  • Fix button animation
  • Fix main menu picture for full screen
  • Fix ghost behavior
  • Fix dogs (they moved on their own for no reason)
  • Fix tear dialog above the girl
  • Fix the directional arrow (make it circular)
  • Slightly cut down taunt cooldown, was very long (20 => 10)
  • Move diagonal at cat speeds up and speed increased in compensation
  • If candy is lost when complying with wincon 7/7, the arrow to the girl doesn't hide
  • Fixes some problems of getting stuck on a level
  • UI fixes

.

Looks that really hard to understand how the mechanics work at first time, but as you play you get the hang of it

well yes

This is a really cute game! Once I figured out how it worked, the gameplay was really fun. The pixel art definitely took the spotlight, though. It was great!

i dowload the 1.0.1 version, but there is no game in the files

Because It's not an executable OS build but HTML5. So to run it you have to upload zip file to your empty itch project
Version 1.0.1 is current that plays in browser but with different compression
I'll add win build later

Uploaded windows version

k, add a harder mode pls

So cute

Hey, every time I try to launch the game it gives a pop-up saying:
Unable to parse Build/Candyween.framework.js.br! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: br" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.

The game does look cute and perfect for the season. But... I can't play. Hope this helped.

Looks like you faced some uncommon error and it's a server sided problem
Or maybe your browser doesn't support Brotli compression.
Anyway I uploaded build with Gzip compression which should work now
